Winning first place nationally was an unforgettable moment, but the real story began much earlier: with a slow, frustrating clearance process that students experienced every session.
I entered the 3MTT National Hackathon with Edu Flow, a student clearance and document-verification product designed to replace repeated physical visits, scattered paperwork, and long approval delays with one guided experience.
The pressure of a national competition forced me to focus on what mattered most. I had to understand the problem quickly, protect the core user journey, make the value easy to explain, and deliver a working experience within a limited window.
That discipline mattered more than adding every possible feature. Judges and users needed to see a clear problem, a practical response, and evidence that the product could improve real institutional work. Edu Flow did exactly that.
The recognition strengthened my belief that innovation does not always begin with a futuristic idea. Sometimes it begins by noticing a painful everyday process and caring enough to make it better.
