My internship experience at 3MTT became a practical lesson in building for institutions, where every improvement must work for both the people requesting a service and the people responsible for delivering it.

Edu Flow was created to make student clearance and document verification easier to follow. Students needed one place to understand their progress, while administrators needed a clearer way to review submissions and move requests forward.

I worked across the experience with a focus on reducing uncertainty. Status updates, structured submission paths, and more visible progress helped turn a confusing process into something users could understand without constant explanation.

The role also included supporting junior developers. Mentoring while delivering taught me to communicate decisions clearly, give useful feedback, and create enough structure for other people to contribute confidently.

The strongest outcome was not simply that the product worked. It was that it served more than 500 users and demonstrated how thoughtful software can return time to both students and staff.

What changed

Impact beyond the screen

  • Developed Edu Flow for more than 500 users.
  • Improved administrative efficiency by 50% through clearer workflows.
  • Helped move document approval from days toward hours.
  • Mentored junior developers and reinforced better delivery habits.
What I carried forward

Lessons from the work

  • Institutional products must respect the reality of every user group.
  • Visibility and feedback reduce anxiety in long processes.
  • Mentoring strengthens both the team and the mentor's own thinking.
  • Useful metrics help a product story move from opinion to evidence.
